Spacescape is a free and open source standalone tool for creating seamless space backgrounds that can be exported as skyboxes!

Features:

• Seamless backgrounds
• Export skybox as 6 png or jpg files and select resolution
• Layered system like Photoshop where each layer consists of point stars, billboard stars or noise (for nebulas/gas)
• Includes several free star billboards
• Written based on the Spacescape Ogre Plugin
