Awesomium - show content in Ogre by HTML/CSS code
Awesomium Website: [http://princeofcode.com/awesomium.php|www.princeofcode.com/awesomium.php]
__Note:__ Awesomium is [http://princeofcode.com/blog/?p=267|going commercial] and the official code repository has been taken down. There's a [http://github.com/pathorn/awesomium|fork] of the latest LGPL version, but it doesn't seem to be doing too well.
!!Features
* Powering an in-game ((-GUI)) using HTML/JS/CSS
* Rendering a live web-page to a 3D object and interacting with it
* A framework for an advanced, 3D web-browser
* An offscreen renderer for snapshots or recordings of web-pages
* The implementation of in-game advertisting
!!Usage with Ogre

!!AwesomiumDotNet
''AwesomiumDotNet'' is a .NET version ''(wrapper?)'' for Awesomium. It's not related to Ogre.
It renders a webpage from Awesomium to a Byte array. Everything else is independent of the graphics ((-API)).
So if the ((MOGRE|Mogre)) wrapper can provide a pointer to a locked texture or something like that, then it should work as it is.

__Problems:__
The wrapper hasn't had much use yet, so the author [http://www.ogre3d.org/addonforums/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=13869|anthrax11] isn't sure about the stability. It currently tends to crash every 10th time when shutting it down. It seems to be something wrong with the cleanup code. (as of November 2009)
