I found that I had to do a lot of fiddling with the 'materials' panel in Blender before the Ogre exporter would recognise the textures.
i.e. They would display on the model in the UV edit view but not on the Game Engine view (and therefore not be exported).
This may be specific to models that have been imported into Blender from other formats.
I will do some experimentation and post another Blender tutorial.
Should this page be moved to link OGRE_Meshes_Exporter?
I don't think so. That page has a link to this one and this tutorial is kind of long...
